Andy and Jooae Peloquin
Andy and Jooae work alongside with Friends of Overseas Citizens and University Students (FOCUS), a multi-organizational ministry group, on the campus of Portland State University and with International students of other Portland colleges and universities.
WEEKLY EVENTS
FOCUS hosts a weekly International Coffee House in downtown Portland just 6 blocks from PSU. About 200 International students and Americans from the community gather together for coffee (of course), a light dinner, and conversation. All International students are welcome.
CONVERSATION PARTNERS
We seek to match students with American volunteers from area churches to get together at least once a week for conversational practice and friendship. It is a great way to meet new friends and improve speaking skills.
Airport Pickups and Hosting
Are you a new student coming to Portland, we provide airport pick ups and temporary host families until you move in to your dorm or apartment.
Trips
Like to travel? We take day trips to Seattle, the Oregon Coast, skiing and the mountains to better experience the beauty around Portland.

Christian fellowship, bible studies for those interested in learning about the bible, service opportunities, helping shop for your apartment, cultural exchange, etc. etc.
