Sardines

Sardines

crowded busMemories of the different ways for God to “Deliver us from evil; for Yours is the kingdom and the glory and the power for ever.” Mt 6:13

This funny pictures reminds me of one of our first Go West bus in 1985 when we packed 70 students on our bus that only held 35. Why: because the other bus engine overheated on the last hour drive to Las Vegas & this was our quick way to resolve the problem. Everyone was jammed into a seat or a bed.

Have you ever seen the inside of a Sardine can or played the game called Sardines? We smelled like it after we turned off the bus air conditioner to keep our engine for overheating, too. But we made it; had a blast in Las Vegas; and as we drove overnight to the Grand Canyon, the other bus engine worked perfectly!

You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Ps 32:7
